Women Health and Homoeopathy
This article is very important for women to read as every women should know about herself, her health ,her diseases and preventive measures and the cure as well.This article of mine is a tribute to the Indian women who work hard in the office and return home to work even harder unlike their male partners.As women work roughly twice than men, they are more stressed and more prone to diseases. Diseases occur due to the malfunctioning of the body and causes of the malfunctioning are various:1. Chronic stress, physical as well as mental
2.Malnutrition
3.Lack of proper exercise.
4.Genetic causes
5.Low immune system
Although causes are various but one thing is very sure that one can not get an ailment without having its tendency in genes. So genetic causes are the most important among all . An emotionally strong person with healthy genes can tolerate stress with ease and on the other hand a highly sensitive, emotionally weak person is more vulnerable to stress and diseases so the first need is to make the body and mind strong, so that it could not easily get effected by stress, pollution, adulteration, infection, hereditary diseases etc.
Today I will share information regarding some common but distressing diseases in women.:-
i) Osteoporosis:- About 80% of osteoporosis patients are females between 35 to 55 age group. It is a disease of bone that leads to increased risk of fracture esp hip, spine and wrist. In Osteo. bone mineral density (BMD) is reduced. It is most common in women after menopause. It has no specific symptoms. It may cause dull pain in the bones or muscles, particularly low back pain and neck pain
Prevention :- 1) Building strong bones during childhood and adolescence can be the
best defense against developing it.
2) Eat
balanced diet rich in calcium and
vitamin D .
3) Engage
in weight bearing exercises
ii) Breast Cancer :- The incidence of Breast Cancer in India is on the rise and is rapidly
becoming the no. 1 Cancer in females pushing the cervical cancer to the second
spot. It is reported that one in 22 women in India
is likely to suffer from breast cancer during her life time, while the figure
is definitely more in America
with one in 8 being a victim of this deadly cancer.
Self inspection:- i) Skin
changes:- See your breast in the
mirror for any skin colour, depression or dimple
ii) Lump
- Palpate your breast with the flat hand to feel any
lump. It is an autoimmune diseases.
iii)Hypothyroidism;- It is more prevalent in females
than males and frequency increases with age, in the United States incidence is rising in people ages 40 to 50. It results from inadequate production of thyroid hormone due to thyroid gland disorder, it may also
result from pituitary failure to produce TSH . Drugs may also cause Hypothyroidism.

Symptoms:-
are fatigue, menstrual changes, forgetfulness, sensitivity to cold, wt. gain, constipation,
edema, decreasing mental stability,
dry inelastic skin, puffy face, dry
hair, brittle nails, slow pulse rate, anorexia,
abdominal distention, increased menstrual bleeding, decreased libido,
infertility , hair loss, difficulty in swallowing etc.
iv) Fibroids:-
20 women at the age of 30 have get fibroid in their uterus. Fortunately most of them remain
asymptomatic. These are more common in nulliparious
or in those having one child
infertility. The prevalence is highest between 35-45 yrs. It may cause
distressing symptoms like infection, hemorrhage, pain etc. Begin tumor may turn
into malignant and can be life threatening.
v) Early
menopause, Scanty Menses or Irregular
Menses:-
These all disorders
are due to hormone imbalance or a
structural problem in the internal
organs. We have to treat primary cause of the disorder.
vi) Prolapse
of uterus:- Prolapse of the uterus refers to the downward
displacement of the vagina and uterus.
The uterus is held in position by adequate ligaments besides, it has the
support of the muscular structures of vagina and all other local tissues and muscles. Due to the laxity of
support by muscles, tissue and
ligaments, the uterus sags downwards.
Causes:- 1.
Prolonged labor, an interference in the delivery by inexpert people, lack of
proper rest diet in post- pregnancy period,
repeated deliveries.
2.
Increased cut of the uterus due to tumor etc.
3.
Menopausal atrophy may also precipitate
prolapse of uterus.
Symptoms:- Feeling of bearing down, feeling as if something is coming down
through vagina.
1. Dragging discomfort in the
lower abdomen .
2. Low backache, heavy menses
and vaginal discharge.
3. Increased frequency of urination.
Prevention:- It is easier to prevent prolapse of uterus
than cure it after its occurrence. The measures to prevent it should include good antenatal care in pregnancy,
proper management and timely
intervention during delivery, good
postnatal care with proper rest, correct diet and appropriate exercise so as to
strengthen the pelvic musculature.
Migraine:- This is a recurrent condition an intense throbbing pain .that effects one side of the head often accompanies the headache. Sometimes both sides may be
effected. The unilateral headache often
change sides. About 20% females and 6%
males are effected with this. It occurs mostly before the age of 40 yrs. Homoeopathy acts like a magic in migraine.
Associated symptoms:-
1.
Increased
sensitivity to light and sound
2.
Blurred vision
3.
Nausea vomiting,
diarrhea. A migraine is a traumatic
experience which the sufferer usually hates
to recall. Some are so severe that it incapacitates the suffers,
leaving them bed ridden.

is always the foundation of good health
because your food not only gives you energy but provides the vitamins,
minerals, essential fatty acids etc. to manufacture your hormones, blood and
bones and to make sure that your body is working efficiently.
As women our body requirements
change through out our lives much more so then men, we worry about weight more,
we have monthly cycles, give birth and all of us will go through the menopause
sooner or later.
Eating well and right homoeopathic treatment is the best way you can
take care of yourself and those who depend upon you. Regardless of the stage of life you are in,
committing to a healthy diet decreases
your chances of developing diseases.
Regular exercise and positive
thinking are also two keys to prevent diseases.
